Could it be? Is Spring really here?! I don't know about you but just seeing the trees bud and the colors popping out here and there makes me very happy inside. It might have something to do with being a Spring baby or maybe it's because my mother is visiting or maybe it's just...."Spring Fever". I know that my students have it. It's especially obvious in the 8th graders. It manifests itself differently in the little ones but it is still there. It can make classroom management a little challenging, no doubt. The flip side for me is that it translates to their singing and stage work in a positive way with energy and inspiration so...I'll take the challenging with the reward (until I lose my voice) . Anyway, hope all are well and Happy Spring!

ReplyDeleteI feel that spring is long overdue! It's technically spring and there are some signs but I am just hating this still chilly weather! I have lunch duty and it's much better now that we can go out but I can't wait for some truly warm and gorgeous days. Since our spring break is late in April the weather should be really nice by then. Enjoy!
Hi Shari, I have to agree with you when you mentioned your students having "spring fever!" I have definitely noticed a sudden burst of energy in all my students! I'll take it though, I can't wait for warmer weather and no more rain! Enjoy your visit with your Mom, and hopefully some nicer weather this weekend!

ReplyDeleteIt is so hard with the time change. M daughter Julia looks through the window at night and says it is not time to go to bed it is not dark outside. How can I ague with that! My boys are already asking how many days until summer vacation. We are all counting down. It must be hard for teachers to compete with the weather.

Yes! Spring can't come any sooner! We have Spring break the week of April 18th and the students are going bonkers. Especially, since now they are getting ready for NJASK. I can't believe how time flies by, it feels like Christmas just passed by....
